The original Max Fish was further down the street when I made my first way back in 2007, the accompanying photograph is somewhere on my Instagra.I remember the shock the first time I walked in, I could not believe bathrooms could look like that. The torrent of abuse the bathroom had received in what appeared to be a clean, but super cool bar was something I had never seen before. Did it sew the seeds to start this project? Perhaps. It has certainly stuck with me. Its demise and rebirth made me determined to recapture what I saw.”
